SHIPPING & RETURNS
All orders received, whether they are entered through and received via this website or other means, are processed electronically by our ERP system in house. They are live and in Active Air Spares' system in real time. Orders are subject to acceptance, and are treated in priority by transport types (as we have set pick-up times to meet). While we will endeavour to despatch your order on a 'same day as received' basis, this will be dependent on the day and time the order is placed in relation to our transport providers' schedule their collections at our warehouse, and also will factor in any unusually on-site circumstances or demand here. If your order is not despatched 'Same Day' it will in most cases be despatched the next business day.
All goods are sold F.O.T. (Free On Transport) from SUMNER PARK Qld 4074 unless specifically quoted otherwise. This means the goods become the buyer’s responsibility from the point that they are collected from or loaded onto a transport at our Sumner Park warehouse. Freight from Sumner Park and transit insurance are the buyer’s responsibility. For convenience we offer freight services provided by third party transport companies, in which case the freight is charged to Active Air Spares account, and that same applicable freight value will be added to your purchase invoice, but insurance remains the buyer’s responsibility.
Active Air Spares has the facility to use any preferred transport company you wish to nominate on a freight collect basis. This will be done by prior arrangement with our administration section and your account will be designated as such, to use your nominated transport company. Since most freight carriers require electronic logins, electronic consignment generation and third-party access, permissions, access and logins all need to be pre-existing for us to access your transport account. This will be established by you prior to our acceptance of using your nominated carrier for supply of goods. Should this not be forthcoming, we reserve the right to utilise own transport and pass on this cost as detailed in the paragraph above.
Dispatch and shipping of orders generated outside of, and within this website will use our pre-existing freight arrangements as detailed on the existing accounts held within Active Air Spares' ERP system for each customer and for each specific branch. Limitations within this system dictate we cannot deviate away from this function and the shipping calculation rates are set as such. While destinations within Australia for deliveries can be adjusted by you for each order if needed, the delivery method is locked to our pre-existing carrier code on your account and charges will be calculated and displayed at the check-out screen.
Destinations outside our set post code delivery areas, and/or orders with weights and/or sizes outside or calculation parameters will return a message at check-out stating that we cannot calculate the shipping cost at this time. Your order will still be received here and one of our sales representatives will contact you regarding options and pricing as soon as we process your order (or the next business day if received outside office hours).
Return of Goods for Credit.
We understand that from time-to-time items are ordered that need to be returned.
Cancelled customer orders, Job changes, purchasing oversights and such.
Please see the Terms and Conditions page, as this contains comprehensive details on approval and processes for returns. Following these procedures ensures an expedited process for returns and/or credits that may need to be arranged.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Goods
Active Air Spares complies with the Australian Consumer Law Guarantee, and we also have our own warranty.
